A colorful plate collection featuring deities from ancient cultures around the world.

Each letter takes the form of the deity, and conveys what they are the god of (for example, Kishimo Jin (K) is the Japanese goddess of children and childbirth). My goal was to execute the design of each letter as simply and as geometric as possible, so that all of the plates would hold together. I chose to show the rich heritage of each culture by creating patterns around the outside of the plate based on textiles, carvings, etc. unique to that specific part of the world.
